ERICA - PPLBC Class Schedule
As a fitness enthusiast and career professional, Erica Luna understands the struggles of fitting healthy exercise habits into your everyday activities. More than a decade ago she discovered a new way of healthy living. Erica’s passion for fitness originates from almost 15 years of spinning, circuit training, kick boxing, swimming and dancing.
Erica holds multiple training certificates from leading certification programs: Orange Coast College – Fitness Specialist, the National Sports Science Association (NSSA) and the International Sports Science Association (ISSA).
Erica’s high energy and can do attitude not to mention her killer music selection make her classes fun and seamless while effectively kicking your booty into shape. Her passion for success and determination almost always cause you to take yourself to a new level – a level you didn’t know you had. When she is not screaming and motivating you not to quit – she enjoys playing with her dog at the beach, Argentine Tango, watching movies, cooking and getting pampered at the spa.
HEIDI - PPDTLA/PPLBC Class Schedule
Sharing her love for physical, mental, and spiritual health while helping to motivate others to develop a positive and happy outlook is just part of her passion for fitness.
Heidi is a California native born in the South Bay. She is the oldest of 5, with 4 younger brothers. She has always had a love for fitness, but found her calling when she was introduced to Pilates. Her love for overall health and fitness grows each day since the discovery of how great and fulfilled it makes her life.
Heidi feels that everyone can benefit from Pilates so she wants to share her passionwith everyone who chooses to take part. “I was born to teach, because when I’m engaging a person and/or crowd my spirit turns on and all of the chatter of my mind fades away to allow me to fully engage.” Heidi’s personality is happy, fun, upbeat as well as creative which helps her meet and surpass the goals of her students.
She is Certified in Pilates through Physical Mind Institute and also Certified in TRX. While teaching, she enjoys researching and learning to offer the best training and advice to every individual she is privileged to train!

JAQUELEEN - PPDTLA/PPLBC Class Schedule
Jaqueleen is a lifelong athlete. Soccer, water polo, and swimming kept her active in her early years. More recently, she is a dedicated yogi, winner of several competitive sprint-distance triathlons, and first-time marathoner.
While attending CSULB, she was coxswain of the men’s rowing team, a role which led to indoor rowing and spin credentials as well as close work with personal trainers and nutritionists. She developed her love of group fitness in college while leading fitball, body sculpt, spin, and rowing classes at the campus gym.
Jaqueleen currently works in advertising and dedicates most of her free time to fitness, in both group and personal training sessions.
JENNIFER – PPLBC Class Schedule
Jennifer is a fitness professional dedicated to helping clients achieve their health & fitness goals. A Southern California native, she’s been devoted to fitness for over 20 years. Inspired by the Jane Fonda workout, Jennifer would pull on her leg warmers and grapevine across her living room. She loved to experiment with various fitness classes from step aerobics to cardio kickboxing, she then discovered the benefits of yoga, TRX Suspension Training, and SPX Pilates.
She believes that people who exercise regularly and take care of their bodies are not only more physically fit, but more emotionally fit, and happier overall. She takes great pride in utilizing fitness to make the world a better, healthier, and happier place. She is continually expanding her knowledge of fitness through continuing education courses, and by attending fitness workshops and seminars. In October, she was selected exclusively to train women interested in competing in fitness and figure competitions at Monica Brant’s FEM Camp 2010. Most recently, she was named Personal Trainer of the Month by the National Council of Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT). Along with her blog “Fit Chica Fitness”, she is a contributor to the fitness publication, South Bay Fit.

JUDY - PPDTLA/PPLBC Class Schedule
Judy has had a lifelong passion for health and fitness, especially when it puts her mind and body in perfect balance. “There’s nothing better than that feeling you get after finishing a great challenging workout – knowing you did something great for your mental and physical health.”
A self-professed gym-junkie, she has explored many realms of exercise and nutrition and has been able to find the perfect blend to attain a strong physical condition. Judy has spent 6 years as a dedicated Systeme Dynamique client, 9 years practicing yoga, 4 years participating in marathons, and over 15 years researching Fitness/Wellness programs as a path to peak performance, health, and longevity.
Judy jumped at the opportunity to get certified as a Pilates Plus Instructor and bring Systeme Dynamique to LA’s newest up-and-coming community with Pilates Plus Downtown LA. When teaching she loves to share her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm with others. “My classes are all about being good to yourself, respecting your body, getting a great challenging workout, great music and having fun!”

KELLI - PPDTLA/PPLBC Class Schedule
Kelli recognized her passion for movement at a young age. Dancing for 13 years provided opportunities for her to be a contestant on Star Search and to perform as a dancer for NBA half time shows. In 2004, Kelli discovered her talent for Spinning, and has become a certified spin instructor through MAD DOGG Athletics, Inc. Soon after, she discovered Pilates. She is continuing her studies at the prestigious school of BASI (Body Art and Science International) and Sebastien’s SPX. Her passion is to motivate others to build strong and lean bodies. Kelli’s classes inspire students to build self-esteem and confidence. She wants her students to feel that they have accomplished something powerful in their day, feeling more energy and having a well-toned body. Kelli’s classes will always leave you with a natural high of a full-out endorphin rush. Let’s get fit!

LINDSAY – PPLBC Class Schedule
Lindsay is a versatile trainer with a background in endurance athletics, weight loss, and functional training. She brings a great energy and enthusiasm to group exercises classes and clientele with her upbeat positive attitude, and passion for educating people about the benefits of exercise, functional training, and proper nutrition. With over 6 years of personal training experience and 10 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, Lindsay continues to educate herself with new and up-incoming exercise techniques to apply to her practice.
Lindsay earned a BA from the University of Oregon, as well as an opportunity to run cross country and triathlon for the University of Oregon. Shortly after graduating from UO, the Oregon native pursued a career in Personal Training. Lindsay is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and SPX Fitness. Personal Training and teaching group exercise continues to allow Lindsay to train an array of clientele from recreational fitness enthusiasts to athletes of all ages and levels: triathletes, snowboarders, golfers, water polo players, swimmers, and soccer players. Lindsay utilizes her experience, enthusiasm, and dedication to provide a unique approach and style to her personal training, classes, and longevity in leading a healthy lifestyle. Outside of work you can find Lindsay running and exploring the vast trails throughout the South Bay, competing in local triathlons, 5k, 10k, and half marathon distance, riding her road bike or beach cruiser, or in the kitchen discovering new healthy recipes to share with her friends and family.

LISA – PPLBC Class Schedule 
Lisa’s road to health and fitness began 13 years ago when she took her first Spinning class with Johnny G. Three months later and forty pounds lighter it was obvious that Spinning had sparked a passion for staying fit and eating properly! Lisa studied nutrition and enjoys creating healthy eating plans for herself and others.
Spinning, along with a dedicated yoga practice has helped her find a balance of peace and strength. She is a Mad Dogg certified Spinning instructor. Lisa has diverse playlists and is always finding new music through Shazam as well as people in class!
She is thrilled to be part of the PPLBC team and invites all fitness levels to join her rides!

MARIAN - PPLBC Class Schedule
Marian has always been captivated by movement and the strength, beauty and grace of the human form. Her passion for physical fitness started at a young age with extensive training in dance (ballet, jazz) and gymnastics. She has always sought out exercises that nourish her mind, body and spirit.
Marian likes variety and loves a challenge, so when she took her first SPX Pilates class she was hooked on the intensity and variation of exercises that could be performed on the machine. She jumped at the chance to take part of the Club Core Teach Training Program to pass on that knowledge to others. Marian’s approach is to lead fun and creative SPX classes that will challenge her students.
